“Spotting big game – perhaps even the legendary Big Five – is the highlight of any game drive. But at Onguma Nature Reserve, there's another unforgettable experience on offer: a guided walk through the African bush. It’s a chance to connect with nature up close, take in the sounds and scents of the wilderness, and discover fascinating details about plants and smaller creatures. An immersive adventure you definitely don’t want to miss.”

Leaving the coast behind, your Namibia fly-in safari continues inland toward Damaraland.

On your flight today, you will pass the 700-million-year-old Spitzkoppe and Konigstein, the highest peak in Namibia, before landing shortly thereafter in the Twyfelfontein region.

You have the afternoon to relax and enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains. Dwarfed by massive ochre boulders, the Mowani Mountain Camp blends seamlessly into the landscape — a place rich in natural and cultural history.

The next day is spent on a morning nature drive in search of the desert elephants, often seen roaming along the dry riverbeds.

In the afternoon, you head to Twyfelfontein and visit the rock engravings, Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes.

Start your day with breakfast overlooking the rugged Damaraland mountains.

You are taken to the airstrip for the next flight to Etosha and your accommodation for the final two nights.

On arrival, you are transferred to the Onguma Tented Camp. Enjoy an afternoon sundowner game drive on the Onguma Reserve, followed by dinner at the lodge.

The next morning begins early with a game drive in Etosha National Park in an open 4×4 vehicle, accompanied by a local guide. This will be a wildlife highlight on your Namibia fly-in safari.

You will spend most of your time game viewing around the waterholes where elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and different species of antelope come to drink. With a bit of luck, you might even spot lion, cheetah, or leopard.

After many exciting sightings, you leave Etosha and return to Onguma for lunch and some well-earned rest. In the afternoon, venture out again for another game drive in Etosha National Park or a sundowner drive on the Onguma reserve.
