Namibia Lodge Tours & Safaris
Explore Namibia on small group or private tours together with your expert local guide
Guided Namibia Lodge Safaris
Towering sand dunes, vast and desolate valleys, stormy waters, and green rolling hills – on guided Namibia lodge tours we take you on a journey of discovery across the land of contrasts. You travel together with your experienced guide in one of our custom-converted safari vehicles and overnight at hand-selected personal camps, lodges, and guest houses. After an adventure-filled day on the road, you can enjoy a hot shower, a cold drink and attentive service – a comfortable adventure holiday.
For the discerning traveller who likes to travel in style, a guided lodge safari is the perfect way to experience Namibia. You can hand-over all responsibility to your guide and enjoy the big and small moments of your holiday with peace of mind. Your guide is also your driver and shares their local knowledge with you about flora, fauna, culture, and everyday life along the way – your guide is your window into a new country.
All accommodations, destinations and routes for our guided lodge tours and safaris are carefully handpicked by our experienced travel experts, who travel Namibia regularly to ensure that we give you the very best of the country, with an emphasis on comfort and minimal fuss. You can choose between group tours and private tours: On our guided group tours, you follow a certain itinerary and are joined by other travellers from around the world. On our guided private tours, you travel with your friends and family only and we tailor-make your itinerary according to your preferences.
As tour operator, we plan and organise your trip, book your accommodations, provide the tour vehicle as well as your tour guide. You just enjoy the ride.

PERSONAL AND HAND-SELECTED ACCOMMODATIONS IN NAMIBIA’S STUNNING NATURE
Accommodation options in Namibia are as varied as the country itself: from family-run guest farms on working farms to exclusive desert camps and cosy B&Bs by the ocean. They all have one thing in common: You will be welcomed as guest, not just a room number, and experience the warm Namibian hospitality. We regularly visit accommodations all across the country and can recommend a camp, lodge, or guest house for every budget and preference. Whether you travel as a family with young children, as honeymooners, first time visitors or returnees.
Lodges and camps in Namibia are located in stunning natural surroundings, making them so much more than just a place to sleep – they are part of the experience. Pictured is the Grootberg Lodge with views across the Klip River Valley.
Rooms in tented camps (like the Mushara Bush Camp just outside Etosha) and lodges are spacious and well equipped.
On our guided lodge tours, you can travel in our 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers with pop-up roof and large sliding windows.
Alternatively, we offer guided trips in our sturdy Toyota Hilux for smaller groups on private lodge tours.

Whether you want to experience Namibia’s most iconic destinations or take your time and explore one specific area, our guided lodge safaris will take you to well-known sights and hidden gems. We not only share our favourite places with you in Namibia, but neighbouring Botswana as well. So you can experience Southern Africa in all its diversity.
Join travellers from around the world on our small group safaris or travel with friends and family only on our tailor-made private safaris.
Together with our professional guides, you see Namibia through the eyes of locals and experience this country like no other from the window-seat of our sturdy customised Toyota tour vehicles. You just have to sit back and take it all in.
Your Accommodation: Lodges, Guesthouses, Farms, and Tented Camps
From clean and chic guesthouses in Windhoek and Swakopmund to irresistibly secluded desert and bush camps in the Namib-Naukluft National Park, Etosha National Park and beyond, Namibia’s lodge hospitality is sure to win you over, and so is the food. Accommodations vary from basic to highly luxurious; more often than not they are setup in spectacular locations with magnificent panoramic views in the middle of nature. Lodges and tented camps will usually feature separate private guest rooms or walk-in safari tents, plus a common area with sundowner viewing deck, restaurant, and sometimes even a swimming pool. At smaller family-run guesthouses and guest farms, you can enjoy your meals family-style and will be joined by the other guests as well as owners or managers who share their insights about local life with you.
Many of Namibia’s camps and lodges also make a significant contribution to the country’s status as a champion of eco-tourism, with a strong focus on sustainability, conservation, and community development. Our guided lodge safaris and tours allow you to unwind in style at a number of Namibia’s unique accommodations, adding yet another memorable layer to your overall experience.
The Guided Safari Experience
On our guided Namibia lodge safaris, you will be accompanied by an experienced guide. He or she is responsible for the day’s organisation and logistics, will drive the tour vehicle and share many useful and interesting facts, anecdotes and information about wildlife, everyday life, and culture with you. You don’t need to worry about driving distances and routing, where to stop for lunch or the best time to go on a game drive. If there’s a problem or anything is unclear, your guide is your first point of contact and will sort things out for you. Our guides are locals and know their home Namibia like no other. You will benefit from their local knowledge and insider tips. On our guided tours, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.
The course of the day depends on your itinerary, but safari days usually start early to see wildlife or climb high dunes during the cool morning hours or cover kilometres on long-distance-days. Your guide will usually participate in and guide your planned activities such as game drives, city tours or hikes. Sometimes, you will also be joined by a local guide, for example on catamaran and boat tours.
There are many different activities to enjoy on our guided lodge tours in Namibia: cultural, active, and wildlife experiences await you in Namibia’s great outdoors. Go on classic game drives in wildlife rich national parks and private reserves, experience the country on foot on hiking tours for every fitness level, explore a Diamond ghost town and look for wild horses, learn about ancient rock art, visit a seal colony on a catamaran tour, go on a fat bike tour or sand boarding, climb up and run down high sand dunes – sip a cold drink and enjoy the views.
On scheduled group tours, the itinerary and most of the activities are set. On private guided tours, you are flexible and plan your tailor-made itinerary together with your travel expert. On both group as well as private trips, we try to include enough time for you to relax and enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
But the very best was our guide Jurgen Schatz. Jurgen shared with us his extensive knowledge of Namibia's history, country and people as well as flora and fauna. With his knowledge of the local languages, he ensured that everything ran smoothly and contributed a lot to the good atmosphere with his sense of humour.Guided Lodge Tour | Thomas from Germany
