He knew so much about the history, geography, flora and fauna, politics, economy etc. He was also prepared to be flexible with some of our timings, when necessary. He really made it a great holiday.
We also saw everything we wanted to. The only challenge was the amount of driving and the fact that we stayed in 7 different places for the 10 day tour. We knew in advance there would be a lot of travel, given what we wanted to cover, but it did mean that when we stayed at the beautiful Epacha Game Lodge and Spa, we arrived at 6.30pm and left the next morning at 7am, so had no time to enjoy it.
But that's the only complaint. Namibia Experience were great to deal with in planning the holiday and Seven made sure everything went smoothly from when he met us to when he dropped us at the airport.

Norman was flexible enough to take us to find elephants rather than go to a living museum and it was one of the best experiences of the whole trip - we found a whole family and were able to view them up close. He is a bit quiet and reserved at first, but it could be because he was trying to see how to respond to us.... read more Sometimes, he was a bit too nice and tried to accommodate us and let us take our time when he could have hurried us but we also understand that he wanted us to enjoy our time there. We came to a happy compromise where he would tell us each day what to expect and the time taken. For the last day, he really went out of his way to make sure we got all our Namibia shopping done and we might have caused him to miss his ride back home sorry, Sam!)! He shared with us the Himba culture, his life story as well as how the people in the countryside lived. He was honest and sincere and took the effort to help us, including me when I was trying to find made-in-Namibia food! Most importantly, despite his stern exterior, Sam is a good guy and has a kind heart. He uses his hard-earned money to buy a van and get a driver to ferry the village children to school as he believes in the importance of education and letting the children have the opportunity.

Ewald was not only an excellent guide but also an outstanding driver. Much of our journey was on gravel and rocky roads, and we always felt completely safe and confident in his hands. His driving skills, knowledge, and calm attitude were invaluable, especially during the longest and most demanding days of the trip.

Thanks to his professionalism and dedication, we were able to complete our intensive itinerary and experience the very best of Namibia – from its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife to the many memorable stops along the way.

Ewald was always attentive to our comfort and well-being. He made sure we had fresh water available throughout the journey and was constantly looking after the needs of the group. When we experienced two flat tyres during the trip, he handled both situations quickly and efficiently, allowing us to continue with minimal disruption.

Despite the challenges of such an extensive tour, Ewald remained patient, friendly, positive, and highly professional at all times. He was a pleasure to travel with and played a key role in making this trip such a success.
