The accommodation was excellent. The lodges and hotels were very diverse, and each one had its own special character. Everywhere we stayed, we experienced very friendly and helpful staff. The food was also excellent throughout the trip.

The absolute highlights for us were the 1.5-day safari in Etosha National Park and the visit to the impressive Big Daddy dune – both experiences that we will remember for a long time.

A special mention also goes to our guide Simon. He was always attentive and helpful, created a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and made us laugh with his sense of humor. At the same time, he provided us with lots of interesting information about Namibia, its landscapes and wildlife. We also always felt safe with him behind the wheel.

One small tip for future travelers: As part of the hiking trip, there was unfortunately little time to explore Swakopmund and Windhoek. Windhoek was not part of the itinerary, and in Swakopmund we arrived on the weekend after the shops had already closed; many shops are also closed on Sundays. Anyone wanting to explore the cities in more depth could stay in Windhoek for two additional days after the trip and explore it independently. We would also recommend doing any souvenir shopping during the trip, as there may not be many opportunities later on.

Overall, it was a fantastic, varied and very well-organized trip that we thoroughly enjoyed. We would happily recommend the tour operator and, in particular, a trip with Simon.

She is amazing.‼️ She found us beautiful... read more places to stay -even though our trip was last minute! She was very helpful. I fully recommend Namibia experience. It’s hard to express how much weight Ollah took off of my shoulders for the group I was leading for our time in Namibia. She saved me so much time and money and brought us to beautiful, beautiful affordable places!!! We did a mix between camping -self catering and lodging. We did a self-drive tour. We hated to leave Namibia and we owe MUCH TO Ollah and Nambia experience.

  Great country - great holiday  - Just had a fantastic 10 day tour of Namibia. Our guide/driver Seven (Feasts) was excellent. Not only was he a very safe and competent driver but he was a mine... read more of information about Namibia. He knew so much about the history, geography, flora and fauna, politics, economy etc. He was also prepared to be flexible with some of our timings, when necessary. He really made it a great holiday.
We also saw everything we wanted to. The only challenge was the amount of driving and the fact that we stayed in 7 different places for the 10 day tour. We knew in advance there would be a lot of travel, given what we wanted to cover, but it did mean that when we stayed at the beautiful Epacha Game Lodge and Spa, we arrived at 6.30pm and left the next morning at 7am, so had no time to enjoy it.
But that's the only complaint. Namibia Experience were great to deal with in planning the holiday and Seven made sure everything went smoothly from when he met us to when he dropped us at the airport.

Norman was flexible enough to take us to find elephants rather than go to a living museum and it was one of the best experiences of the whole trip - we found a whole family and were able to view them up close. He is a bit quiet and reserved at first, but it could be because he was trying to see how to respond to us.... read more Sometimes, he was a bit too nice and tried to accommodate us and let us take our time when he could have hurried us but we also understand that he wanted us to enjoy our time there. We came to a happy compromise where he would tell us each day what to expect and the time taken. For the last day, he really went out of his way to make sure we got all our Namibia shopping done and we might have caused him to miss his ride back home sorry, Sam!)! He shared with us the Himba culture, his life story as well as how the people in the countryside lived. He was honest and sincere and took the effort to help us, including me when I was trying to find made-in-Namibia food! Most importantly, despite his stern exterior, Sam is a good guy and has a kind heart. He uses his hard-earned money to buy a van and get a driver to ferry the village children to school as he believes in the importance of education and letting the children have the opportunity.
