We’ve been on a 17-day self-drive tour through Namibia in September. And we can only say positive things about it. Many wonderful experiences bring back fond memories. A great variety of landscapes, friendly people as well as amazing wildlife make every nature lover’s heart beat faster. We will always remember that lion in Etosha National Park. Each night, he roared loudly. Such experiences in the wild, while staying in a tent, are unique.
After our arrival, we were picked up at the airport by Sven. He supplied us with all documents, maps and instructions. He is very experienced and was able to optimally prepare us for our upcoming self-drive tour.
Our route took us from Windhoek to Namib Grens, Sesriem, Rostock Ritz, Swakopmund, Aba Huab Camp, Etosha National Park, Waterberg and back to Windhoek.
Occasionally, the roads took some getting used to, but in our Land Cruiser we got around well. The campsite were well chosen and organised. In Windhoek and Swakopmund, we stayed at guesthouses. All bookings have been made in advance by Namibia-Experience. Everything went perfect. In two years’ time, we’ll come back to Africa and surely book again through Namibia-Experience!
